Mystical Faerie

I was walking down my path to see if I could find a faerie friend today. To my surprise sitting in the middle of some wildflowers was a beautiful blonde haired faerie with a glowing ball in her hands. She was silently reciting something that I could not make out and so I just quietly stood there and listened and watched as she ran her hands around this ball and whispered her words . Inside of the ball there were many colors, like a rainbow all swirling around and around as she talked and becoming brighter and brighter as she continued with her ritual.

She finally got done and the ball just glowed a very bright white light . She looked up at me and there seemed to be saddness in her eyes. I saw a small tear fall from the corner of her eye. I stooped down and asked her what the problem was and if there were any way that I could help.

 

she nodded her head from side to side and sighed and said no, there was nothing I could do that would help . She stated that she had done all that she could with her magic and hoped that it would be enough and maybe change what was happening. 

I didn't know what she meant and asked her what was to be changed.

she replied,"There is so much trouble in this world and I am the Faerie of love and peace". "I have had news today that a terrible tradgy happened in another country and it saddens me." "I have said my magic spells and used all my powers given to me by the Faerie Princess to try and help all these people in their time of need." "I can't help the ones that were taken away, but I hope that My magic and love and peace will help all the ones that are there and in shock and disbelief that anyone could do this to so many for no reason other than to hurt people. I have been around many many of your earth years and have seen this so many times. I will never understand that all can't love each other and help each other.""The Faerie Princess has decided to make many more  of us faeries of love and peace and send us all around the world in hopes that maybe we can make a difference." "I can see in this ball all the suffering and crying of the people that have been so badly hurt." "This is a sad day for all humans and all caring and loving creatures on earth.""Us faeries feel pain and suffer with all that are injured and those that have passed on." "The only way humans can help is to realize that they must stop this needless killing and start to love each other as they love themselves, then maybe love and peace will  prevail."

I left her to do her work and sadly left the glen because I knew in my heart that it would be a very long time before all humans would ever feel the way she thought we should feel. As I think we should feel.  Maybe if we do it one person at a time, and just let it multiply , just maybe we can make a small difference. It is worth the try , isn't it?
