Faerie of Wisdom and forgiveness

While strolling in the glen I came upon a faerie that was sitting down with a big book in her lap and she was writing and reading and nodding her head from time to time. Once in awhile she would smile and at other times it seemed that she had a tear in her eye. I was so quiet that she didn't notice me as she was working so hard with her book. It had to be twice the size of her and I wondered how she carried it, but being a faerie I bet she didn't have any problems at all.

I just stood there and looked at this beautiful faerie and she had a wand with a star on the end of it. When she touched the inside of the book with it, a bright light shone and little stars sparkled out and landed inside. I looked over her shoulder and saw that the book was full of names and some had these sparkling stars by them and others didn't.

I moved in front of her so that she would not be afraid because I knew she didn't see me. She looked up and told me that she had sensed my presence long before I stood behind her, so she knew I was there and who I was and therefore not afraid .

I asked her if she would tell me what she was doing with that big book and why at times she smiled and other times she had a tear in her eye. What was the wand doing too, I asked.

"I am the faerie of Wisdom and Forgiveness,"She said.  "I have everyone that has not forgiven someone that they have wronged in this book and I try to use my wisdom and age, for I have been here for many many of your earth years, so I have alot of wisdom that I can share with all of you." "You see," She said. "You humans hurt each other and don't know how to make amends for the wrongs you have done to others." "I try to whisper to these people and help them realize that their lives are way to short to hold a grudge against someone they really love and not share their lives with them." "Many times it is over a foolish thing or a complete misunderstanding. Often times it is from gossip that they have heard from a third party." "These are the saddest, because to believe what someone else says in gossip is wrong and sometimes these people are deliberately hoping to cause trouble and break up a friendship." "Have you ever noticed that the ones that gossip the most are the unhappiest people on earth?" "They are so consumed with unhappiness that they can't seem to want anyone else to be happy either, sothey start false rumors and lie about what one person said about another." "I have a tear in my eye when I realize that no matter how much I try to help them, they will never change." "But then on the other hand , there are those that I am able to reach and make understand that a friend is worth more than anything on this earth. NO money, no accomplishment can replace a true friend." "One that will always be there no matter what happens and no matter what anyone says or does they will stand fast." "These are true friend, that are made of gold and last for your lifetime." "You will meet many friends during your life, but only a few gold ones. "

How wise this faerie was and she explained that when she reached two people and they renewed their friendship, they glowed red in her book and then she touched their names with her wand and the red turned to gold, for then they were friend of gold for life. I listened to her talk and tell me her stories as she touched certain names in that book and others I noticed were a black color and these made her have a tear. Thank goodness that the gold ones outnumbered the black ones. I would hate to see this beautiful faerie full of saddness and cry. When she was done, she lifted her magic wand and waved it over the book and it disappeared. That is how she "carried" her book, I  had to smile.  How lovely she was in her gown on emerald green and trimmed in black, and I noticed that she had a black ribbon around her waist and it had a silver medallion tied to it. I was staring at it and she smiled and told me that it was an intricate endless knotting that hallmarks the artistry of the Celtic Relm--demostrated in the eternity--symbolizing there is no end. This is how freindship should be she said, for it is as precious as diamonds and worth more than pearls.

I thought it was beautiful and I had never seen anything like it before. She told me that many people from her land wore these as rings and many gave them as wedding bands too. How wonderful they would look , I really admired that medallion . She smiled and said that I could buy a ring in almost any jewerly store. I liked hearing that and said that I was going to look for it the first chance I got.

I wished her a good day and I walked back to the house thinking about this faeries wonderful words of wisdom, and thinking if I had hurt anyone unjustly and if I did, I was going to make sure that I made amends, because friendship is to precious to let go.

Faerie of Comfort

I had just come home from a very sad day spent with a family that had lost someone very dear to them and to me also. This person had been a friend of mine for many many years. We had gone through all the trials and tribulations and laughed and smiled and hugged over many happy events in our lives. I sadly sat down on my porch and sighed as I rocked back and forth in my rocking chair. Thinking back to all the times I meant to call her and say Hello but there always seemed to be something to do or somewhere to go. So now, I can not do this any more. I missed my chance.,

As I sat there daydreaming of my dear friend, a very gentle breeze touched my cheek and I heard a small little voice whispering in my ear. I turned my head slightly and there hovering just above my shoulder was a beautiful faerie. She looked so sad and she gently landed on my shoulder and put her small hands on my face and wiped away the tears that were falling from my eyes. As she touched each tear and held it in her small hand it turned into a pretty small bird with a tiny white flower in its beak  and she lifted her hand and let it fly up into the sky. She did this with each tear that she took as I sat and quietly cried and watched her. I was too sad to speak and  she seemed to understand this.

She gently talked to me and said that every tear that I shed for my dear friend was now on its way to heaven to show that person that I loved her very much and instead of tears, my friend would get these pretty flowers brought to her by these very special birds that only she could send. She said that my friend would smile and take each flower and make a bouquet out of them and smell their pretty fragance and be happy that someone loved her so much to send these to her. Each flower was special because there were none like them on earth. They glittered and glowed a soft yellow-pink color and smelled heavenly.

I asked her who she was and how she knew that I was so sad about my lost friend.

"I am the faerie of comfort,'She said. "I am sent out  by the Faerie Princess when ever anyone truly loves someone and they are so sad that their hearts and souls are full of tears. I send those tears to their loved ones and let them know that they  are remembered and loved and missed. I do this for all people and there are many of us that do this every minute every day. By sending these flowers and changing your tears to birds that can spread their wings and go up to heaven will help ease your pain as each time a tear is changed a small spark of comfort enters your heart and soul . It will not take all the pain away from losing the one you love, but it will help you to be comforted that they are with the Lord and are happy in His care. "

I just sat and saddly looked at this wonder sent to me to comfort my grief. She was so lovely and her voice was so soft and loving. She had clear wings that moved slowly back and forth as she talked to me and in a way they were comforting to watch. Her gown was of lavendar and white and she had a pink shawl on her shoulders. Lovely red hair flowing down to her waist with ringlets of curls circling her gentle oval face . She had soft green eyes and dark lashes that made them even more attractive. Her eyes seemed to glisten and shine as we talked and I began to feel a peace come over me. She stayed with me for the whole time I sat on that porch and I told her all about my dear friend that I will miss so badly. I can only think that the Faerie Princess and God work together on occassions such as these. I can only thank both of them of this angel of a faerie whos job was comforting aching hearts.

The MOON FAERIE

Have you ever looked up into the sky and seen the moon faerie sitting on the moon and just playing her harp and singing sweet songs? Maybe you can't see this faerie because you have to be in my glen where all the faeries live. I have just noticed her there today as I was sitting on my porch and looking up and the sky. She seemed to be so beautiful and there were irredesent lights surrounding her as she sat and swung her leg back and forth and sang her lovely song.  I sat mesmerized and she kept  swinging her leg and singing and playing that harp. After what had seemed a very long time, she left that moon and it seemed that she was like a streak of multicolored lights going through the sky. She landed on the porch by my railing and took me by surprise, because I didn't think that she saw me there and watching her.

How lovely she looked. She had on a long multicolored gown and it was shiny and silky. It seemed to flow in the wind as she quietly walked up to me and sat on my outstretched hand. I told her how happy I was that she decided to stop in and say hello to me.

She said that she had seen me sitting and listening to her singing and that she could here me huming the words with her nad wondered how I had learned that song as it was an old Irish one and no body sang it anymore. I had to confess that I had listened and learned it from her and I didn't even realize that I was humming the same tune as she was singing.  She just smiled and said that  she was happy that she was able to share that song with me.

She said that she was on vacation and that she chose just to stay in the glen and sing and play her harp and not hurry off somewhere when she was very happy here. That is why she decided to streak to the moon and sit there and sing and play tonight.

How wonderful that would be to be able to just streak to the moon and sit and swing your foot and play a harp and sing.  I closed my eyes as she started to play and sing another song for me. I began taping my foot to the music. We stayed there for quite awhile and just relaxed and talked and sang songs that I knew and taught her and she taught me a few of hers.

What a wonderful ending to a tiring day at work. It was nice and cool out side and just sitting there with my faerie friend was the best thing to happen to me in a long time.
