Fairy of the heart and light inside

Sweet Faerie of Heart, Sweet Faerie of Light, tiptoe into the dawn and chase away the night, summon your powers then cast magic spells, sprinkle the flowers with sweet faerie smells.

As I walked along I heard this beautiful song being sung. I followed the sound and came upon a a small fairy lying on a toad stool and singing as her beautiful irridescent wings gently fluttered back and forth. She looked so peaceful and happy just lying there and singing. Her voice sounded like an angels. Sweet and soft. She sang that song over and over, until she noticed me standing and smiling at her.

"hello,"I said."What a lovely song that is that  you are singing. I followed the sound here to see who was singing in the glen."

She simply stayed where she was and said that her name was heartlight. I thought that a strange name for a fairy, but didn't say anything.

She sensed my thoughts and started to speak . "My name is unusual because I have a very unusual job here." "I am in charge of bringing light into this glen and chasing away the night so that all the lovely things in here get the sunlight they need to survive. Sometimes the sun doesn't reach some of these friends of mine and they start to wilt, I come here and bring the light to them." "Everything must have light to survive and sometimes the light can't find them. I help them and with my powers they become strong and healthy. I sprinkle each blossom with my faerie dust and it makes them strong and shine so beautifully. I love my job,"she said. "I get to make all things beautiful and help them grow strong and healthy." "My faerie dust can turn a flower that is whilting into a glorious work of art." "It also works on people too." "I can sprinkle some of it and make an unhappy person happy again."

I asked her how this was possible because it didn't take away any problems, or did it?

She simply smiled and said no it didn't take away any ones problems, but it helped them by making them smile and not take life so seriously."" Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is mystery, Today is a gift, That is why it is called the Present", she smiled and said.

I thought about that and had to agree with her words of wisdom. We talked for another hour or so and then I left to go back home to have some tea and get ready for bed. Work tomorrow you know. Yawn!!  Goodnight.!!

Oh well . . . I guess it will come as no surprise, Faerie of Words Janice, that I LOVE this post!  (smiling)  The art, as well.  So, so lovely.  Thank you for sharing the light with me.  Faerie (Tracy)
